June 10-11, 2010
The FDA & NHLBI are hosting its 3rd annual workshop on computer methods for cardiovascular devices: The integration of nonclinical and computer models

The workshop will be held at the Executive Meeting Center, Hilton Washington DC/Rockville MD

This workshop furthers FDA’s Critical Path Initiative and intends to address barriers in computer modeling for cardiovascular devices.

This year’s workshop will focus on how best to integrate computer and nonclinical models.

We aim to bring together researchers in academia, private industry and government agencies to discuss research and application of computer modeling.

We are most interested in hearing your perspectives on computational modeling which furthers the design or evaluation of cardiovascular devices.

For more information, please send us an email at: cpi.cmcvd@fda.hhs.gov

Organizers: Donna Lochner (FDA), Timothy Baldwin PhD (NHLBI), Semahat Demir PhD (NSF), Charles Taylor PhD (Stanford), Elazer Edelman MD PhD (MIT), Bram Zuckerman MD (FDA), Larry Grossman PhD (FDA), Vijaya Kolachalama PhD (MIT), and Tina Morrison PhD (FDA)
